7 Yr Old Sony AV Receiver, New 60 Inch LG Plasma TV?
I bought LG 60 inches on weekend plasma and connected the old model of receiver with my XBOX console & Wii. I find that AV system volume is to break upwards and downwards, very often, even if they are not changing or moving between different inputs video channels. When an error occurs, you may not hear it. I wonder why the audiovisual system is not capable of HD. I checked all the connections and are very well. Any guidance or feedback is greatly appreciated.
I appreciate the responses. I have the video output of cablebox going on television and audio output dates back to the receiver av. test connections and report again. Thank you once again.

The copper came loose jiggle all the cables and see if the cables and you are hooking it up that way the copper came loose jiggle all the cables and you are hooking it up that way the.
Being an old receiver means you have the audio connect via rca jacks. If the volume is changing loudness you have a loose connection in your audio. Check your connection to make sure they are properly secured and try using a different cable and see if that works. Hope this will help you out.
